【摘要】:ThisPASspecifiesrequirementsforthedesignation,testing,factoryproductioncontrol,installationdocumentationandmarkingfordifferenttypesandconfigurationsoffloodprotectionproductsintendedtobedemountable,foruseawayfrombuildings,butmaybesealedagainststructuresorbuildingsatsectionends,intheUKorlocationswithsimilarexposures,i.e.wherethereisatemperateclimateandadvancedwarningoffloodingisavailable.ThisPASspecifiesthemethodoftestingandanallowableleakagerate.NOTE1ThePAStestconditionsrepresenttypicalconditionsthatmaybeexperiencedduringaflood.Thisincludestestingtheproductonaconcretebaseforleakageandstructuralfailureunderstaticwaterlevels,randomwavesupto0.1mhighandparallelcurrentsupto1.0m/s.NOTE2ThisPASdoesnotcovertestingwithcontaminatedorsalinewater,however,productmanufacturersarerequiredtoprovideinformationabouttheperformanceoftheirproductsintheseconditions(seeAnnexC).NOTE3Conformanceoftheproductdoesnotmeanitissuitableforalllocations,exposuresandfoundationtypes.Iftheuserisinanydoubtastothesuitabilityofaproducttoanyspecificlocation,theyshouldseekfurtherguidanceassetoutinTemporaryanddemountablefloodprotection:Interimguidanceonuse[1]orfromtheFloodProtectionAssociation(www.floodprotectionassociation.org)orotherprofessionaladvisers.NOTE4ExtremeloadingconditionssuchasthoseresultingfromturbulentwaterorfromdebrisimpactarenotcoveredbytestinginthisPAS.Intheselocationstheproductshouldbespecificallydesignedand/ortestedtowithstandsuchstresses.NOTE5Demountablefloodprotectionproductsarenormallyinstalledinconjunctionwithapumpingarrangementtoremoveanyexcessiveleakage.NOTE6ThefloodprotectionproductsdescribedinthispartofPAS1188arenotintendedforpermanentinstallation,andattentionisdrawntotheneedtoensureafreepassagetopersonsintheeventofanemergencyandtoaccessandegressforpersonswithimpairedmovement.Theseproductsshouldonlybeinstalledintheeventofanimminentfloodandshouldberemovedassoonasdangerfromfloodingisover.ThisPASisnotapplicabletofloodprotectionproductsforinstallationacrossbuildingaperturessuchasindividualdoors,windows,air-bricksandairventsoraroundbuildings;thesearecoveredbyPAS1188-1andPAS1188-3.ThisPASisnotapplicabletotemporaryfloodprotectionproductswhicharenotlocationspecificintheiruse,areintendedtobewhollyinstalledduringafloodeventandwhollyremovedafterwards;thesearecoveredbyPAS1188-2.ThisPASdoesnotspecificallytestfloodprotectionproductsforcoastalconditions.Wherefloodprotectionproductsareintendedforcoastalconditions,adviceonsuitabilityshouldbeobtainedfromthemanufacturer.
